Life, to me, is about enjoying the little moments. My family, walking the dog, exercising to music, a warm cup of tea, an engaging costume drama, and a good night's sleep—these are the things that color my moments!
As a young girl, I often felt restrained from expressing how I truly felt and sought ways to channel it. I saw the world in different colors and lines. At home, I found my outlet in drawing, while outside, I would dress up as different characters at random moments. It gave me a sense of peace and joy.
Looking back now, searching for myself, I understand my longing for expression much better. In my work, I return to that pure, unrestrained feeling.
Drawing, for me, is an encounter with the many threads of my life.
